The individual would not raise his or her desires above the rest. Rather, the individual would give no thought of him or her self. Humanity would be “the group”, and we would approach corporeal challenges from a higher spiritual level, where we are connected and each individual has the desires of the rest within him or herself. So, the solutions we would create would be above the ego, they would generate sustaining states of peace, tranquility, harmony, and ever-increasing capability.

They are disowned parts of us. They are desires.” Prayer is about making the corrections to become like the Creator. So, my prayer is that I will reestablish the connection with the people around me. That I will feel their desires as my desire. That I will feel them incorporated in my sensation of self. I look forward to doing this work in a group of 10!
February 22, 2023 at 9:34 am EST in reply to: What was my best experience from the previous course? What do I expect from this course? #313250ScottParticipantMy best experiences from the last course has been to sit in a quiet place to read and contemplate the Q&A of Kabbalah Experience. I also enjoy reading Kabbalah Science and the Meaning of Life. I find great satisfaction knowing that I am on a spiritual path with friends and that we will be doing spiritual work together!
February 20, 2023 at 8:29 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Our entire work in Kabbalah is only to attract the light that reforms. By this we receive everything we need for our advancement. Furthermore, I’m told that if I will help the others, I will advance myself even more towards spirituality. How does this work? What does it mean to help the others, those with the point in the heart, on the spiritual path? #313116ScottParticipantI think it means including them in our sensation of self and interpreting our interactions with them, whether pleasant or not, as interacting with the reforming light for the purpose of making corrections.
February 12, 2023 at 11:22 am EST in reply to: Preparation Prompt: Considering our journey thus far, how can we fortify our connection with the illuminating force? How do we amplify its transformative influence? #312422ScottParticipantWe can create an environment that includes reading works of Kabbalists, being a member of a group of 10, and having a teacher. As we do this, we set our intention to bestow because we receive. Meanwhile, we use the pursuit of our egoic desires to operate in the cycle of egoic attainment > fleeting pleasure and emptiness > growing desire for spiritual attainment > some measure of spiritual attainment and pleasure > ego taking that spiritual attainment and pleasure for itself and reiterate.
February 7, 2023 at 9:32 am EST in reply to: Preparation Prompt: What does transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism entail? #312007ScottParticipantInstead of being unaccepting of ourselves and others, we would accept ourselves and everyone else as they are. Instead of perceiving that something is going against us, we would perceive how everything is working for our benefit. Instead of feeling isolated, we would feel connected. Instead of feeling regret that we missed an opportunity, we would recognize that the opportunity was for others, and we would be happy for them. When we experience a sense of peace and love, we would intend for others to experience the same. When we experience a sense of pain, we would care that the common soul of Israel is experiencing the greater pain. In other words, our thoughts would be for others and we would not feel the need to consider ourselves. Why? Because the Creator considers us and that’s all the consideration we need. Our consideration for ourselves only results in pain.
Perhaps this is in the ballpark.
