In the process of development . . .Kabbalah speaks about the development of wealth . . .attaining Light in this area . . .is this the accumulation of wealth as in finances . . .the material? All Spiritual paths previously have taught me that wealth is a detractor to living Spiritually and I have personally tried to become devoted to lessening my dependence on consumerism. I understand that Light/wealth can mean wealth in kindness, care for others, etc; however, Kabbalah often speaks about attainment of wealth.  . . just as it seems to say that we should be partnered . . .although many other devoted paths speak about being able to develop the capacity for for being alone with the Divine as a path to Light and becoming less dependent on the accumulation of wealth (a worldly desire) . This actually seems a mundane or simplistic question to me as I ask it . . .yet I sincerely ask for clarification. Thank you.

I am beginning to grasp an understanding of the Kabbalistic view of the life process. To be honest tho . . .there are many choices that must be made and those must be made wisely for survival in this convoluted world. For those who did not have mentors to guide, did not land in families that are aware of such complexity of a process for evolving. I understand the clearing of Tikkun or Karma; yet, I cannot help but think that if this is a game . . .it feels like a cruel one. Folly for the Gods . . .like those spectators that use to watch battles between a human and a lion . . .the odds are stacked very much against the human without a divine intervention. What do I do with those very real feelings?   I know all the pretty things to say & I am not a negative person, truly . . . I do not want to rain on parades . . . yet, I cannot feel the spark within the heart that others speak of . . . I long to know the path there. Thank you.

My intention for studying Kabbalah is because it seems to offer practical applications to be a healthier presence in the world . . . I think I am very non judgmental, unbiased, compassionate, etc . . . all the characteristics one aspires to when in one’s own environment . . . but when out in the world I recognize how easily base reactions are triggered. So being aware of my inconsistencies and remedying them . . .becoming more proactive and continuously less reactive.  Whatever that reality is . . .that is what I sincerely desire!

I appreciated the practical questions outlined that we can expect to find answers for thru Kabbalistic methods.

We need to be taught what we are made of.

What is preventing entry into this world?

How can we gain a sense of the Spiritual again?

These are the questions that I look forward to answering for myself. Thank you.

I lack a clear understanding of what the five Spiritual levels mean individually. I noted the proper names and have researched the names; however, I do not have a clear interpretation. For example, if one of the levels meant that a person works on reactivity, then work on  . . . is there that type of explanation in language that would assist me in understanding the steps of each Spiritual level. Thank you.
