I’ve discovered a question: Was the purpose of Creation simply to create a question? Was the result an infinite loop of that unanswered/unasked question?

Can you identify where it is real and where it is an illusion? #188388V CParticipantTo quote Colleen: “There is also the perception of a higher world to some people, but not all. Why is that ? You cannot have “free will” to choose something you cannot perceive.”
Free will is a mystery to me for the most part. When I study, Kabbalah opens the doors of perception (thank you Huxley:-) and KabU of course). It vanishes as soon as I am attracted to fear, when I’m stuck in the quagmire of survival.

November 15, 2021 at 4:33 pm EST in reply to: How can we live our life (our current incarnation) to the fullest? #188385V CParticipantFor me, it’s when I remember a lesson my mother taught me. She managed to instill in me the knowledge that everything I have was given to me by my Creator. When I forget this, I feel entitled to hoard what I have (my things, my friends, my money, my experience…).
November 15, 2021 at 4:21 pm EST in reply to: Do you ever feel like reality is the product of your own perception? #188382V CParticipantYes, but usually only in retrospect. After 35+ years in my field, I’ve been unable to find a work for the last 5 years since turning 65. I’ve gone through extended periods of bitterness and resentment over what I perceived as constant dispossession and discrimination. What releases me from these dark thoughts and despair is the realization that I wouldn’t have been able to heal myself or care for people who are very dear to me if I’d been trapped in the 24/7 schedule my career had demanded.
V CParticipantI tried to post my intro on 11/2/21, but I don’t see it here — although many of you look familiar. I’ve completed the first week since then, but here’s what I posted then:
Good Morning. My name is Virginia and I live in California. By coincidence, this is election day [11/2/21] in the US state of “Virginia” — a good day to start this course again? I’ve studied Kabbalah in a haphazard way on and off for many years. Each time I do some reading or start a course, my monkey mind jumps away and I return to the loneliness of the ego. Today, my intention is to remain connected to the Light that radiates from the Creator through our teachers — past and present — with deep gratitude the holy work of KabU, B’nei Baruch, Rabbi Laitman, Tony Konsinec, and all of you.
