      Does the past exist somewhere?

        Hey Todd,

Both the past and the future exist in the present…

Time in general is a construct of necessary human imagination. With what we were given to perceive reality, the result is the sense of time – but in truth, there is no “time” the way we understand it. Spiritually speaking, time is the sense of alternating states.

Did we exist as other people in history?

      • #314278

        Hey Todd,

You can’t really say it’s “me” since the “I” that I know is what’s in this body. But there is no additional “will to receive/s” being created. It’s the same one undergoing constant changes.

        Thanks!

Is our time at Kabu a precarious time as the desire for spirituality is generally small and we don’t have a group yet?

      • #314012

        Hi Todd,

Nothing is ever lost in spirituality and every effort a person makes towards the goal enters the correction. Of course, if a person wishes to accelerate the process of development, then they need to enter a group that will influence their thoughts and desires.

Do we ever get to a point in spirituality where we can remember all our past lives?

      • #314011

Hi Todd, I don’t want to speak in those words because I’m not sure what you are depicting. But if a person acheives the complete correction of their soul, then they attain the full picture and understanding of creation on its entire path of development from beginning to end.

Good day to all. I have a question from a reading from “ attaining the worlds beyond- eradicating egoism” pgs119-138

“First, we are sent spiritual sensations from Above. Then, we are elevated, followed by a time of hard work, and of constant effort to remain on that particular spiritual level by our own strength. We should concentrate on appreciating the value of our spiritual elevation.”

my questions are what does the hard work and consistent effort consist of? What is it like? Is it that when one becomes a student of kaballah and exposed to its wisdom, nature presents opportunities, depending on one’s perspective, to implement the teachings and make the corrections necessary for one’s spiritual advancement and growth?

        Hi Khalid,

You are correct. The efforts are primarily when one enters the organized study framework and begins to make efforts to connect with other students in order to draw the reforming light which works on a person, changes them, and brings them closer to the Creator.

Furthermore, I recently asked a question about the KAbU logo. I received a thorough explanation on multiple occasions. Thank you. However, on one occasion, the teacher literally turned a light bulb on in my person when he rotated the diagram. I have heard about above and below, roots and branches. However is there any teaching , knowledge or wisdom associated with the logo on the x plane. To say the x plane or horizontal? In other words, when the kabu logo is rotated so the image has a left and right type orientation ie what was above is left what is below is right and viceversa

          Hi Khalid,

Although there is a vast amount of materials on the language of roots and branches, this being the basis of the entire method of Kabbalah, there’s nothing spiritual about the organization’s logo.

To attain the language of roots and branches is only possible in connection with others and can never be found in any external images or depictions, but only in a group that aims to be similar to the Creator.

In other words in one’s desire and action towards a relationship with the creator does a “struggle against the body” ensue?

        • #313940

          Khalid,

Yes, for one who truly wishes to draw closer to the Creator, he finds that the body is opposed to it. This is because the Creator is absolute bestowal and the created beings are absolute reception. There cannot be anything more opposite than this.

The good news is that the Kabbalists have created a method that enables a person to draw strength and receive the necessary guidance in order to fully adhere to the Creator while living in this world and in these bodies. A person simply needs to work on the desire to reach the goal, which is done by building for oneself an environment that will influence one’s thoughts and actions towards the spiritual direction.

Hi, I have a problem with something. In the teachings we’re told that “The Creator / Nature / He / She / The Force” (I don’t mind the name, that’s not my problem). Anyway, that “The Force of Bestowal” WANTS us to “XYZ…” (change, feel, do, whatever). My problem is with the verb “To want”, as that is a desire. So… when I hear that someone wants something, that “Force” gets humanized in my mind… then I kind of see “The Creator” of Michael Angelo in The Sistine Chapel. Can you clarify why Kabbalah uses that verb? Does it really mean that a Natural Force wants something from me? (Gravity doesn’t, as far as I know).

      Thanks.

      • #313937

        Hi Maria,

You can think of it more in terms of a law of attraction rather than a desire. You can also say that if an apple is dropped from a building, gravity wants it to hit the ground. But in this case it’s clear it’s less of a want and more of a natural law, something that must be.

Since the Creator is the force of bestowal, He created us in order to receive that bestowal. And because His purpose is to fill us completely, he guides us to gradually become similar to Him and attracts us towards Him since this is greatest fulfillment a person can receive and the purpose of creation.
