ParticipantWhat is Kedusha? Is it the Kli that we have to develop to receive His goodness while bestowing to Him? Would it be correct to put it this way?

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorJulia,
Kedusha is “sanctity”, it is something totally different than “reception”.

ParticipantMy question stemmed from reading Shamati #54 – “The Purpose of the Work,” Pages 157-159. There it is written that Kedusha is the Kli, from which I concluded that it is somehow related to reception (probably to some specific way of reception). Could you please clarify then what Kedusha is, because this confuses me a lot.

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorJulia,
This is not complicated.
First we need to remember that all of reality is only filled with endless light.
We however only perceive a tiny fraction of a fraction of a fraction of reality.
Do you know what is going on on the bottom of the Indian Ocean? Do you know what is going on on some side street of Jerusalem, do you know what is happening in the kitchen of the apartment next door?
No.
We don’t know any of this because what we can perceive enters us through our 5 senses and a we only admit into ourselves a tiny sliver of reality. 99.99999999% (approximatly 🙂 of reality exists outside of us. We only experience a tiny bit.
And also we need to remember as the kabbalists say that there is a rule that there is no light without a kli.
It means that yes, all of reality is filled with light, but we only feel that light, or any light, to the extent that we have a vessel for it.
This is the meaning of the kli of kedusha it means that the creation has a true desire for holiness, a kli and in that kli, that certain light of sanctity dwells.

ParticipantWhat are Klipot? Are they somewhat similar to Sephirot?
- June 28, 2023 at 9:28 pm EDT #324796
Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorJulia,
We don’t leave our children alone next to a big motor.
Even more so, if we were before the power of Creator, and this is why there is a shell that protects us until we are prepared. This is the klipot. To the degree that one advances and attempts to become similar to the Creator, then his properties light up. They are called Sefirot.

BradParticipantSo, it is a sin to even think that “i did this” rather, its HaShem that hurled me to the dirty pit. Its HaShem that pushes me away or brings me close. Nothing of my doing.
in the video Tony says its not the actions but the intention …so, is the intention the only thing that is done by me? Or is that HaShem too?

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorBrad,
Baal HaSulam is writing about a very exalted degree that person achieves, where he feels that everything is coming from the Creator. It takes time for a person to stabilize this perception while still living in this world, engaged in work, family, study, etc with all of the “disturbances” sent to direct him.
It is as if everything in in the hands of the Creator except as it’s written, “fear of the Creator”, meaning my intention, that I don’t want to be separate from Him. As if being separate from my Beloved. No matter what the actions are, in my heart, in my intention I want to be connected to Him in everything.
Later we’ll discover that even this is Him doing it, but from our side, we went through all of the efforts in order to acquire this intention, even though He gives it, we went through all the actions to build it and by these efforts we learn how to relate to Him, to value Him and to be like Him.

Zealot MinesParticipantSo far from this lesson, man has the qualities of the creator, but he was pushed so far away.. given the delusion that he can do what he feels like.. he can justify everything.. but until one finds out that the creator plans out everything all, he does shall/is in vain.
- May 22, 2023 at 1:16 pm EDT #320589
Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorZealot Mines,
I don’t understand your comment at all.
The created being is 100% opposite to the Creator.
The only thing the Creator created is a will to receive which is totally opposite from the quality of the Creator.

Yeshua CatherinekaParticipantNot able to understand the following paragraph, could you please explain it simply. Thanks
The same applies when one feels some closeness to holiness,
when he feels joy at having been favored by the Creator. Then,
too, one must say that one’s joy is primarily because now there
is joy Above, within the Holy Shechina, at being able to bring her
private organ near her, and that she did not have to send her
private organ away.- May 20, 2023 at 1:10 pm EDT #320466
Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorYeshua Catherineka,
When we feel close to the Creator and when we feel far from the Creator, that is because these are states that are coming from the Creator, already determined beforehand. Even when we pray to the Creator, that is because the Creator sent us a desire to want to be close to Him.
So even when we feel close, we should feel that it is because now He wants me to feel close to Him.
Why in another situation would He want me to feel far from Him? This is a question you did not ask, but is a question to think about.
If the answer is not clear, we will discuss it more later. Think about it.

LoriaParticipantAbsolutely Amazing! This reminds me of the 12 steps for some reason. There are steps and I can see where rejection that I perceived being from a person, was my Creator drawing me to Him. I have had to come to the understanding that “Only He” can restore and grow me. This explains now how in the Psalms we witness David feeling disconnected and crying out in despair. Is this a correct perception of the Psalms?
Thank you so much. May love shine forth! Blessings.

Seth – KabU InstructorModeratorLoria,
Here is a great session that Gianni, one of our wonderful KabU instructors recently gave on the Psalms. I think you will find your answers there.
