Rosie
ParticipantHi all. I’m Rosie. I’m a grandma – about to become a – great-grandma. I’ve had a lot of experience with religion, mostly bad. The worst was being stuck in a cult for many years. The one thing that’s always been true in me is my search for true spirituality. After I clawed my way out of the cult, my most fervent prayer was, “God, don’t let me be fooled.” I’ve had some wonderful personal spiritual experiences after deep heartfelt prayers to what I believe is a loving, caring God. I’ve been learning how to read tarot and oracle cards. My practice involves sincere prayer before I pull any cards to make sure my intentions are pure and that I ask for correct guidance. I believe my present state of mind led me to have a very surprising dream a few days ago. I don’t remember the whole dream, but I remember the message at the end – “Kabbalah is not a religion. It’s a way of life.” This came through loud and clear in a way that I could never forget. I swear, this came right out of the ‘blue.’ So, here I am. I’ve never watched a video, read a book, or read an article on kabbalah. I’ve only heard about this in past celebrity news bites and such. My only reaction was, ‘hmm, that’s interesting.” I’m here to find out if I’ve been called to learn and/or experience kabbalah. Right now, I feel like a wounded soul trying to heal. I’m happy to be here and I wish all of you the best on your journey.
