I wish for my fellow students to keep their point in the heart engaged and directed toward the purpose, even when the ego tries to sabotage us and conceal the true aim.

I’m hitting on confusion when it comes to the diagram/understanding of “breaking” and the positioning of our world inside the diagram. Most probably due to previous knowledge wrote in “Shomer Emunim”, “Moses Cordovero’s Introduction to Kabbalah” etc. My previous understanding was that the shattering happened in Atzilut and cascaded down the worlds, and our existence is within Malkhut of Assiah, whilst the image produced in the lesson suggests the shattering was after the lowest world of Assiah and we are outside that? Is it a case of revised understanding or are both correct at the same time, in a way that I’m struggling to understand?Where do the misconceptions come from? For them to be so prevalent there must be a reason for the confusion?
Also, is it a case of they have nothing to do with the subject so are irrelevant, or that it is inherently harmful to incorporate other beliefs?
