Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #462920
DianaParticipantThe purpose for which I study Kabbalah is to attain the point of perfection for which I was created by the Creator.
I wish to fulfill the Creator’s desire for adhesion with Him.October 30, 2025 at 12:56 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: What is freedom and how, by the help of the Reforming Light, can we acquire it? #462515
DianaParticipantFreedom is the desire to adhere to the Creator. With the help of the reforming light and the restriction Tikun, we can receive as much light as possible from the Creator and become similar to Him.

DianaParticipantThe English version wasn’t so powerful for me because I was trying to understand the meaning of the text intellectually. But when I listened to it in Hebrew, it was amazing — because that’s when the ego and the thoughts of competition appeared in my mind. When I said that I felt my ego and my desire to receive, I meant that I had thoughts in my mind about wanting to receive more information in order to be better than some of my friends. And once I became aware of them, I tried to connect to the Light of the Creator. Then, those ego-driven and competitive thoughts disappeared from my mind, and I finally dove into the whole.
Now it is clearer to me. It’s actually amazing!

DianaParticipantThe first time I tried to connect, I felt my ego and the desire to receive, and I noticed how it tried to take over my perception. But I focused on connecting with the Light and on receiving the Light from the Creator. With that thought, I dove into the words and felt how I am part of the whole. I feel peace!
