I had a question, but couldn’t really form it in my head and certainly couldn’t articulate it, but it had to do with facing up to and opposing evil (selfish actions detrimental to me and others) around us in the material world. So I found my question in Tom’s question and the answer in Albert’s response. Starting to see the benefit of sharing.
December 18, 2022 at 6:47 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: In what way have I gained a deeper understanding of my life and of the forces working in the world? #306892John CatonParticipantI am far from an adequate understanding of the forces working in the world and my life.

I’ve heard the comparison of life and game simulation/VR increasingly in the past couple of years. In my heart I haven’t believed, but I have been unable to counter it. This video provided the counter-arguments I couldn’t muster. True, they probably benefit me more so than anyone I would argue with, so selfishly I’ll likely keep them to myself as there’s little benefit from arguing anyway.

As we move up the rungs, what happens? Do we gradually discern abstract forms, or are abstract forms “moving” into or becoming forms of matter?
December 14, 2022 at 4:24 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: To what perception of reality do we want the study of Kabbalah to lead us? #306581John CatonParticipantI truly don’t know. Is there an upward limit? If not, then I’m not yet able to relate to the concept. If there is an upward limit, what are the limiters? I have a journey ahead, don’t I?

I thought to myself, “What an elementary question, I asked”. I had one of those “Duh!” moments. I was well prepared, therefore, for your answer confirming my understanding. I appreciate you and everyone there assisting us in this climb.
