ParticipantAll people share the desire for well-being. At some point in one’s development, it becomes possible to recognize this as the desire for intimacy with the creator.

ParticipantI valued all the insights and revelations of the last course, but learning about Prayer was my favorite part. I’ve always had an aversion / attraction conflict around prayer. I’m attracted to the practice of communing with the upper force, but I’m averse to the way I have typically seen prayer practiced and discussed. I would say that the last course gave me a new perspective on and understanding of the act and mechanism of prayer which relaxed my aversion while also confirming and clarifying my intuition about what prayer really is.
For the next course, I hope to really dive in to practical techniques that will allow me to apply the wisdom of Kabbalah in every part of my life and in all situations.

ParticipantIf relationship was approached from the basis of love and bestowal we would all experience each other’s needs and desires intimately as our own…therefore there would be no sense of separation and no division. We would all approach all problems in the world as though they were our own.
February 24, 2024 at 12:24 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #362428Justin Wood
ParticipantI would ask for the Light to help me shift from the intention to receive for my own benefit to the intention to receive for the benefit of all. I would ask for the Light to help me let go of the intention to receive for myself and to replace it with the intention to receive for the pleasure of the creator.

ParticipantTo view reality from the perspective of the Creator, we must shift the way we interpret all that is and all that happens. Rather than thinking that whatever happens is indicative of the Creator’s changing attitudes towards us, we have to interpret reality with the understanding that the Creator’s attitude towards creation never changes, and is always and only intended to elevate us creatures through the 125 degrees of correction and spiritual growth, returning us to equivalence of form with the Creator.

Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #338624Justin Wood
ParticipantMy goal is to directly know my essential, unconditioned self and to directly know the essential, unconditioned truth of reality.
