Not that I always will? I guess what I’m trying to ask, is that even if I attain my Masach, it doesn’t mean I will constantly be filled with pleasure like I was when I was going through the initial phases of Direct Light correct? I find it a lot harder by a few levels of magnitude to derive the simple pleasures that I once did, and I’m having trouble keeping hope and trust that this is the correct path, but if this emptiness is indeed a part of the process, then that would give me hope. Every video lesson and reading session I have, too many things are lining up for me to deny, even when my logic starts to override my faith, but, I just need reinforcement that this emptiness I feel is indeed a part of the process, that ultimately it will result in the correction and perfect state that I was given a glimpse of when I started down this road.
Kenneth AlexanderParticipantI wish that regardless of wealth, that all of us would be able to find invaluable worth in ourselves. I believe that each of us has a perfect role to play, like each tiny piece of a clock. I wish that we could find pride in the parts that we play, and rather than judging ourselves against what we have and don’t have. Rather than finding pain in that which we lack, that we could see it as a part of ourselves that needs others to fill, and in that learn more about ourselves. Ultimately I wish that each and everyone one of us can find that place in the puzzle that we feel we belong, and to have peace in that.
June 12, 2022 at 6:16 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: In what way have I gained a deeper understanding of my life and of the forces working in the world? #291444Kenneth AlexanderParticipantI have less of an excuse to blame anything or anyone other than myself for the negative emotions that result from the choices I make. I cannot blame the Creator, for he has endowed me with free will. Everything He does is for His greater purpose, and in His great wisdom he gave me free will. Even with the tailored insight given to me, fitting my perception of the world, I still fall into temptation and have to have Nature light a fire under me to get me to advance. Instead of see-sawing between times of elation and good decisions followed by depression and self-pitying decisions, I need to somehow find a way to balance them, even at the cost of the elated times I have. Somewhere in there is a balance that I have to ability to find, I just need to put forth the effort.

The human mind on its own is so vast, I’ve always felt like I’m only using a small portion of it even when really applying myself. I want to sharpen and develop the amazing and divine gift that consciousness and see how much of nature I can really understand.
