I get more excited by what I’m learning with each new video, reading, etc. It quenches a thirst I didn’t know I had. But, I sure don’t understand everything that I’m learning. After four viewings I’m just starting to grasp Julian’s teaching about the Partzuf building block. But, the exposure still brings the Reforming Light into my Kli, right? And, that’s the most important thing at this stage as a student?

It’s a change of state. So, there’s no way to say “We’re getting close.” I’m (and humanity) is either not “there” or is “there” (in the next higher degree). I can stop looking for positive signs now. I’m not going to see humanity or myself gradually getting better. In fact, I understand that things being so bad is the best harbinger of the jump. It creates a sense of peace about the world being SO MESSED UP.

Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #314324Lora VatalaroParticipantUsing Rav Laitman’s words–I want the Light to influence us to acquire the force of bestowal upon (and in spite of) the force of reception. In this semester, I’m seeking to gain some practical knowledge in how to take baby steps in that direction. Based on my experience with the Kab U courses so far, I’m confident that I will gain this practical knowledge. And at the same time, I’ll be deepening my connection to the other amazing students who are studying with me.
Lora VatalaroParticipantWhat most inspired me was the profound sincerity of Kab U. It reveals itself in every video, tip, quote and question.
I learned how hungry I’ve been for the straightforward truth that the Wisdom of Kabbalah offers. I’ve also learned the hilarious tyranny of egoist desires.
I wish for my fellow students that they are drawn to continue with their studies here, to attract more and more of the Surrounding Light into themselves and to feel more and more confident that we can, if we work together, attain corrections and connections and change the world for the better.

I don’t set out to feel it, it just happens sometimes. Is this a taste of where the Wisdom of Kabbalah hopes to take us?
