The thirst for more. It is unquenchable. Now the desire for becoming practical is added and I look forward to learning about that!
Maria B. W12ParticipantThe dedication of our instructors and supporting friends, the depth of their knowledge and their example of bestowal the way they guide us on our shared journey continues to blow my mind. The shared dedication and desire of the seeker friends we are studying together with is a great inspiration.
Many outdated beliefs I managed to lose by now in he course of the study. A lot of old beliefs I found revived and reinforced in a new light and emphasis. It feels like a déjà -vu. Have I been here before?
I wish for fellow students to be brilliant, successful, and progress fast in the study. To make me envious and want to jump over hindrances to be able to keep up with them in achieving together our ultimate joint goal.

W12ParticipantMy inner scrutiny tells that I cannot have the true answer for this question. It needs the highest attainment through equivalence of form to taste reality as the Creator does.
January 24, 2022 at 6:45 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: The importance of clearly defining the goal in the study of Kabbalah is the beginning of the path. Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #251563Maria B. W12ParticipantTo become fully aware about the point in my heart by clearly feeling the qualities of the Creator present in it. Then, to connect with other points in the hearts of fellow students along the same qualities to support them and receive their support in building a large enough kli that allows us to attract the Light. Maintain and taste it together and hence affect the field around us to benefit others, too. Then, continue along this path until our joint and individual ascent to the re-united state of Adam HaRison and full harmony with the Creator’s will is achieved for all Humanity.
Maria B. W12ParticipantWhile Tony read aloud the words of Baal HaSulam, it inspired me to do my own reading aloud, too. And I found that uttering the words instead of just reading them does elevate my feelings while they resonate within me.
I’ve learned at the course about the depth of my egoism. But, thank G., I also learned that working together with my fellow students there is hope for me to learn how to use my egoistic intent to turn it around to bestowal.
I wish to my fellow students strong faith and rewarding work in learning the path of Kabbalah.
January 11, 2022 at 12:43 pm EST in reply to: Ask anything about week 1 lesson and materials and get an answer from a senior Kabbalah instructor. #222126Maria B. W12ParticipantHello Seth,
“Revelation is the degree to which we perceive the goodness and unconditional love of the Creator. This is our true level of connection with the Creator.”
“If we can feel the sorrow that our detachment causes to the collective soul and the joy that our connection causes, we are in a state called Lishma.”
“When we give joy to the collective soul, even though each feels the joy and the closeness individually, this reception becomes bestowal.”
“When we use our will to receive in order to give joy to the Creator, we have attained the quality of bestowal.”
I understand that these statements relate to spiritual states/attainments. Do I understand correctly that those states can be only felt in a vessel, which I, as a mere desire with a point in the heart, am only being prepared to gain? By studying Kabbalah, reading the Zohar, Shamati and Baal HaSulam texts and course text books, listening to the guidance of Dr. Laitman and the fantastic instructors, graduating from the carefully designed set of KabU courses, hopefully getting assigned to a 10 of fellow students, work with them on our intention and only then can I get a true feeling of these states through connecting my point/seed in the heart with those of my 10? Or can these be felt individually, too, while still being in the preparation stage?
Thank you.
