maria santosParticipantI can’t recall where I saw it, but it mentioned something about our lives being a movie that is playing out. As a child I always thought that that was exactly what was happening. The Creator already knows our life story and its ending because he directed the movie. We are just lost in the role and have forgotten that it is a movie we are watching.

Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #335278
maria santosParticipantThe goal for which I am studying is to know the Creator, and be one with it…in simple form I want to go home to where all was one.

maria santosParticipantFreedom is choosing the path of pain or the path of light, from there the Creator (Light) breaks through and we are activated. From there we begin the ascent up the ladder, we are not able to do any of this unless the Creator opens the path and carries us through it.

maria santosParticipantHi.
Can you explain what a Partzuf is?
November 5, 2023 at 7:58 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Try to imagine the sensation behind the statement “There is None Else Besides Him.” How can I feel that the entire reality is the action of the Creator? #334230
maria santosParticipantI feel it would be hard to describe how that feels, as there are probably no words for it that even come close to describing. I would describe it as a child who wakes up from a nightmare and runs to their mother and finds comfort, safety, love, peace and knowing that all is good and they feel one with her.
maria santosParticipantWhat most inspired me in the course?
The thought, as the song goes, that the Creator has the whole world in his hand. Although I might not understand why everything happens, I can be confident that it is ONLY in his hands and that all is for our good.
What have I learned about myself in the process? That I need to look at all sides, and see that the “bad” in our world is for our good, it is for our learning, it is a teaching moment. We can either learn from it, or we can continue down the same path and have to deal with a larger teaching moment, ie the path of suffering. Knowledge is not the answer, the answer lies in the heart.
What do I wish for my fellow students in their spiritual development?I wish the same thing I wish for the whole human race, that we all choose the path of light and not the path of suffering. That we see we are all one soul, and that we break through the barrier and join the light and ascend the 125 degrees.
