Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #370648Michael DunlapParticipant
I’m excited to continue to better recognise the challenges I encounter as opportunities for correction of my self that I may be of better service to others.

What do I expect from this course? #370566Michael DunlapParticipantThe biggest eye opener for me was an awareness of my response ability and how I can better act in situations rather than react egotistically. My growing ability to respond to others with the intent of bestowal has had a noticeable effect on many of the relationships in my life, which also has resulted in them being more pleasant and welcoming for me to be in as well.
April 22, 2024 at 7:57 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: If everyone must reach the ultimate goal, what is my role in the process? #370038Michael DunlapParticipantI return to last week’s video on Perception by Dr. Laitman, and in many senses I think my role in the processes is to project my image of a corrected world or even a world in the process of correction onto that blank canvas rather than defaulting to the algorithm that tells me what “reality” is. It goes beyond “be the change you wish to see in the world” and moves towards “see the change you wish to see in the world”. Rather than seeing a world at a current state of war, see the world moving towards peace. Instead of seeing a current state of famine or sickness, see the correction towards health and wellness.
April 14, 2024 at 10:56 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: What does it mean to view reality from the perspective of the Creator? #369107Michael DunlapParticipantViewing reality from the perspective of the Creator, for me, is understanding there is a larger purpose to the whole of Creation than my egoistic desires. This includes how I view other people, or circumstances that May not immediately be what my ego wishes them to be. Similar to the parent analogy, a child may not like or be prepared to appreciate the lessons they are being taught, but the parent has the best intentions and the ability to see the bigger picture and long term benefit the child will ultimately receive. The child must first go through the process, and through the experience see the purpose through hind sight.
April 9, 2024 at 10:06 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: The importance of clearly defining the goal in the study of Kabbalah is the beginning of the path. Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #368658Michael DunlapParticipantMy greatest goal could be summed up by a saying I once read about the journey of the “self, through the Self, to the SELF.” My intention is not simply to arrive at a destination, but to connect and become better in tune with the Creator in order to recognise the lessons of this journey as I continue this path for the betterment of humanity.
Michael DunlapParticipantAs all of reality was created of the Creator, it necessarily follows that All is the Creator.
