MsNandi MarieParticipantMy question has to do with the lesson statement for what we will learn in week 2:
“How you are completely controlled in every aspect of your life and why you still think you can achieve freedom.”
From what I read, it appears that we are influenced by outside forces and inside (internal) forces. However, according to the lesson, “Free Will is really ignorance.”
I do understand that our environment influences our choices (where we were born to whom we were born) but I am baffled by the thought that we are completely controlled in EVERY aspect of our lives.
Please explain. Thank you.

MsNandi MarieParticipantTrue freedom is in the connection with the Creator by not just the absence of certain things but by the spiritual. That point in the heart that leads us to connect with the Divine. It’s not so much dos and donts but understanding the root of our soul. “There is no coercion in spirituality.”
The environment that appreciates the internality more than the externality is one we want to dwell in.
Internality: the state of being internal focused on our inner nature, or psychological inwardness.
Ethical values

MsNandi MarieParticipant“A person bears no responsibility for external or internal actions, including our doubts and descents.”
Please explain this. It seems quite contradictory. How do we draw close to God/Creator if there’s nothing required? Please explain.

MsNandi MarieParticipantHow can I feel that the entire reality is the action of the Creator?
“Perpetual Creation: This is not just a historical event; the Creator is actively, {“bringing the world into being”} in every moment, meaning reality is a constant, unfolding expression of divine will.”

MsNandi MarieParticipantHe is the Divine Creator of all that is in heaven and earth. As we observe the beauty of our planet we see his handiwork and can marvel at the order in which everything was designed.
The is NONE besides Him, meaning that it is He our Creator that we worship and allow to penetrate the deep places of our heart. Nothing else truly satisfies. We approach each day with gratitude and expectation. As we become more aligned with Him we put aside our egoistic nature and become more like our Creator .

MsNandi MarieParticipantMy best experience was understanding the knowledge and realizing the need for internal change so that I can align with the Creator.
What I expect from this course is further knowledge that will help me to deal with uncertainty and being anxious about the unknown. God the Creator has his hand in everything that happens and he wants to bestow good things to me as I learn to become a giver opposed to just a receiver. I want to live in harmony with all mankind and look upon my fellowman with the eyes of love.
