MsNandi MarieParticipantI have gained the correct perspective of the Workshop and how it helps to develop us spiritually:
“Transforming Consciousness (Refining the Vessel): Workshops help individuals understand that their personal “vessel”—thoughts, emotions, and reactions—determines how much spiritual Light or fulfillment they can receive. They offer practical tools to move from a state of “receiving for oneself” to “receiving for the sake of sharing,” which is believed to unlock lasting happiness.”

MsNandi MarieParticipantWe connect with others by seeing them as friends and as we are admonished to love our neighbor (friends) as ourselves. We honor each other by putting aside the ego to achieve the love that the Creator desires us to have for each other. We view others as more important than ourselves.
“It is a spiritual, unselfish union that creates a shared vessel to reveal the Creator and transform the ego into a force of bestowal.”
“This goes beyond simple kindness to mean actively looking out for a friend’s needs, respecting their unique, different nature, and building a common soul together.”
Our desire should be to bring people closer to the Light of the Creator.
May 5, 2026 at 4:35 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Starting a new course in Kabbalah is similar to a fetus moving on to a new trimester. The warm and fulfilling womb is still the same, but the desire and needs of the future human are evolving. Before we start the first week let’s set our expectations. How do we want the womb (Light) to influence and evolve us? What do we desire to achieve in this semester? #498350
MsNandi MarieParticipantHow do we want the womb (Light) to influence and evolve us? What do we desire to achieve in this semester?
I want to move closer to the Creator with a deeper understanding of my purpose in this life. I have learned quite a bit thus far and now I want to apply the teachings in my everyday life.
I understand that most people are an actual mirror and when we observe certain negative behaviors in them we more than likely have those same behaviors. I want to use every experience/challenge to further my spiritual development. As I reflect on my years of living, I understand how my egoistic ways have driven me. My selfish desires and not being considerate of others’ feelings have led to poor life choices.
Thus I want to achieve the state of loving my neighbor as myself and the continued development of my 6th sense to understand reality; to not be driven by fear and anxiety but to understand that the Creator wants the best for me and in turn I want to become like Him. Lastly, I also want to bond and become more connected to my fellow students.

MsNandi MarieParticipantThere were so many gems in the last course/lesson. However this particular gem truly drove home the point about having an Outward facing attitude towards one spiritual practice and the world at large:
“In Kabbalah, an outward-facing attitude is not merely about being social; it is a profound spiritual practice of transforming the ego (desire to receive for oneself) into a vessel for sharing and connection (desire to bestow). It is the conscious transition from focusing solely on inner experience to actively engaging with the world, using the “outward” reality as a mirror to reveal, refine, and elevate one’s inner consciousness. “
What do I expect from this course:
I expect an even deeper understanding of how to apply the teachings/wisdom of this science called Kabbalah. Practicing it in my every day life towards those that I encounter. Also using terms that others will understand regarding Spirituality.
I truly want to connect with my fellow students so that I can continue to move closer to that Upper force and equivalent of from with our Grand Creator. The things that we see in others are actually a mirror for us to look internally.
“In Kabbalah, others acting as a “mirror” means that the behaviors, faults, or virtues you perceive in them are actually reflections of your own internal state, personality, or areas needing spiritual correction.”
MsNandi MarieParticipantWhat most inspired me in this course are the following:
1. Prayer – I learned that it’s not the WORDS but my intention when I seek the Creator in prayer. I should not ask him for certain things but use this time to honor Him.
Key aspects of prayer in Kabbalah include
Restoring Unity: The universe is fragmented; prayer repairs this separation by uniting the divine feminine (Shekhinah) with the masculine aspects.
Drawing Down Divine Flow: Prayer serves as a vessel to attract shefa (divine bounty/intellect) into the world.
Self-Rectification: Prayer acts as a “spinal cord,” infusing life into the commandments and rectifying the body and soul through kavannah (focused intention).
Participating in the Cosmic Process: Prayer is not for changing God’s mind, but for elevating our consciousness to align with the Divine Will, bridging the upper and lower worlds.
Tools for Connection: The words, melodies, and physical actions (like talit/tefillin) are sacred mechanisms to ascend spiritual worlds, not just requests for physical needs. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7] (Google, Kabbalah Master Class)I also learned what it means to increase one’s vessel and how to do that:
“According to Kabbalah, increasing your vessel (kli) means expanding your capacity to receive Divine Light (abundance, love, and fulfillment) by shifting from a mindset of selfish desire to “receiving for the sake of sharing.” We increase our vessels by restricting reactive behavior, overcoming ego, practicing proactive sharing, and enduring challenges.” [1, 2, 3]
What have I learned about myself in the process:
I’ve learned that for most of my life I have only thought about my own needs and not about the act of bestowing. It’s okay to receive, but we should also want to align with the Creator and have a heart of bestowal. “Love our Neighbor as Yourself”.
What do I wish for my fellow students in their spiritual development?
To understand the process and to not become overwhelmed if certain things do not immediately make sense. To continue on the Path of Light through study and engaging with the teachers and their fellow students.
