How do we “correct” our desires?

So, do I understand it correctly, to reach enlightenment, we need to start seeing the bigger picture? To see what is good in every so-called bad experience? It is a key to joy and happiness, regardless of external situations, people and circumstances. This is easy to understand intellectually, but the work is to embody and truly KNOW this.

To go beyond the limitations of the 5 senses and develop a 6th sense that sees the bigger picture.

I’d like to get a deeper understanding of the meaning and purpose of life.

Hello, I am Tiiu from Toronto, Canada.

I had this internal voice telling me today that I need to learn Kaballah.  I really don’t know much about it, but I feel that I need to learn. I have been on a spiritual journey for 36 years, and I am amazed at how much I still don’t know.
The only thing I am sure about is that we are the light we are looking for.
