Hi, I’m Zach. I live in Florida and am originally from California. I’m expecting from this course to get a Kabbalistic perspective of the development of humanity up to this point and what the future holds as well as an understanding of how we are capable of shaping humanity’s future with the science of Kabbalah.
March 10, 2024 at 3:32 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: What does it mean to view reality from the perspective of the Creator? #364250Zach AnselParticipantIt means to view reality without a desire to receive for oneself. In other words, to view reality from the perspective of bestowal. It also means to view reality as having been completed in the thought of creation.

What you said about thanking the Creator for your obstacles is particularly eye opening for me. Looking at my self doubt as something the Creator placed in my path so that I will have to overcome it, will help me draw closer to Him.
Thank you for sharing your experience and perspective with me and I wish you all the best as you continue your studies.March 6, 2024 at 2:22 pm EST in reply to: Ask anything about week 3 lesson and materials and get an answer from a senior Kabbalah instructor. #363664Zach AnselParticipantAs I study I am constantly shifting from states of feeling motivated and encouraged and that I am understanding the material to states of discouragement and confusion and feeling like maybe I don’t have that point in the heart and  should just give up. I often feel these shifts several times during the same study session. I’ve been studying for about 2 months. Is it normal to have so much self doubt and go through such wild swings in my emotional state?  Did you have similar experiences in the beginning and if so, how were you able to get past them?
March 3, 2024 at 9:55 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: The importance of clearly defining the goal in the study of Kabbalah is the beginning of the path. Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #363342Zach AnselParticipantMy goal is to reach attainment and understand the laws of nature.
February 25, 2024 at 11:41 am EST in reply to: Preparation Question: What is freedom and how, by the help of the Reforming Light, can we acquire it? #362503Zach AnselParticipantFreedom is the ability to make a conscious choice to move with the thought of creation or against it. The reforming light offers us the easiest path to freedom.
