mrc sParticipantif i cannot see behind g-ds plan is that mean it doesn’t exist?
- January 13, 2024 at 6:59 pm EST #339394
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorSure, you can’t say it exists if you don’t see it or feel it. You can believe someone told you about it and you want to reveal it for yourself. In that case, it would exist.

mrc sParticipanthow can i trust g-d when im in pain?
- January 13, 2024 at 6:58 pm EST #339393
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorThe ego wants to be certain it will receive pleasure/a reward. We want to know for sure that if we go after Him, if we want to reveal Him, that it will be worthwhile. We are always more willing when in pain, to make changes in order to not feel the pain, but if the pain is removed then also our drive towards Him disappears–this is why progress on the path has to do with how much we are able to establish a desire for wanting to make a different calculation other than bitter/sweet, and graduate towards truth/false. Once a person wants truth more, they are willing to go above reason.

mrc sParticipantif god feel pain if we suffer then Hes not feeling infinite happiness?
- January 11, 2024 at 10:11 pm EST #339245
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHey mrc,
What Kabbalists tell us is what they feel from Him, His attitude towards them and what He wants from them. They tell us they feel a desire on the side of the Creator to fill us with delight in the thought of creation and until we can receive this, there’s what they call a “lack” on the side of the Creator, although this is the only word for it it’s not accurate to say the Creator lacks anything.

mrc sParticipantif outside of me is light where are you?
- January 11, 2024 at 10:09 pm EST #339244
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorEverything is inside you. We don’t know what “light” is, we just refer to the phenomenon of the influence of the upper light on our vessels as light.

mrc sParticipanthow should we think of the less fortunate?
- January 11, 2024 at 10:08 pm EST #339243
Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorFirst of all, do not separate from None Else Besides Him. You should see everything outside of you as part of you–whether you feel it or not is something else–this should at least be your aspiration. We can never be satisfied if we have still not reached Gmar HaTikkun and do whatever we can do, within our strength to bring the whole world closer to this state.

Om AgniParticipantI have heared in some videos that the soul doesn´t exist, but I also heared in other videos talking about reincarnation. So arises this doubts to me: what is that that reincarnate in another body?
From what I have experience so far in my path I would say that each of us have a soul which is part of the great collective soul (adam harishon) but it has its own taste and its own freewheel simply it perceives duality and separation with less rigidity and intesity.
I would love to hear your opinion.
thanks

Chris – KabU InstructorModeratorHi Om,
It just depends on the context. If you heard “the soul doesn’t exist” that would be in the context of the extent of what a person has built or hasn’t built for themselves. If they haven’t built their soul, it’s considered as not existing–while on the other hand, this exists on the side of the Creator with Him in Gmar HaTikkun.
Thanks!
Chris
