Hi Gianni,

I would really appreciate your advise on a repeating situation (2 YGs). What to do when there is an abusive friend who always demands something and imagines that they are the biggest bestower and, the rest are leeches that suck their energy for selfish reasons and uses every situation, every interaction to provoke, to dominate, to scold? We are tiptoing at every meeting, at every interaction. We tried everything: covering with love, praying, asking for change, and guidance, but nothing seemed to work. We asked for help, but that also didn’t change things. This time I tried to stay away from the bully and didn’t engage much (first YG I tried to reason with them, but to no avail), but after more than few weeks of this behavior, I don’t really want to go to meetings anymore, or engage in the chat, or anything really. I no longer know what to do or how to relate to this. I don’t have a feeling that I am in Kabbalistic group anymore, but rather a psychiatric session. Can you please advise? Thank you a million in advance!

If it’s like you’re saying and all the ten feels that way, then there’s a misconception about what the ten is for and we need to look into it.

Related to Maria’s question and to something we learned in the YG (“Mighty Rock of my Salvaton”, where it talks about the force we should not receive fuel from): When I am trying to connect to my friends and bestow, should I be worried that they might receive whatever I want to give in Klipot? Should I try to protect them from that by refraining from bestowing something that I think they may receive in their egoistic vessels? Or should that not be my concern, as it doesn’t seem to be a concern to the Creator. Should I try to bestow like the Creator, without care where it goes, trusting that the system itself will not allow the vessels of reception to receive any light that is not meant for them? Or should I try to make the calculation when, what and to whom to bestow?  Thank you!

There’s something to all that, but generally all I can bestow is the importance of the goal, my example; and with this there is no room to harm them.

Thank you, Gianni! One more related question has come up. Do we attain the work in bestowal individually or is it something that appears simultaneously to all of us in the ten like this team-building game where the people in a circle all lean back into each other’s lap at the same time?

In our tens, what are we actually supposed to be bestowing to our friends (besides love)? Is it bestowal if a friend doesn’t want or ask for something so they have no clue that another friend is bestowing but the bestower insists that they accept it? If someone bestows something we do not desire, but we accept it does that make it that the person receiving is actually bestowing? I have read we should taken on the desires of our friends, but what desires are acceptable? I would think it means spiritual desires, but I’m not sure if that is true.

You mainly bestow to the others your good attitude. This is the hardest thing because I can give an object to one that I hate, but changing my heart is something else.

Is it bestowal if a friend doesn’t want or ask for something so they have no clue that another friend is bestowing but the bestower insists that they accept it? It’s possible to bestow without the other knowing it. For example, my small child doesn’t have to know how I relate to him with great love. But it can’t be bestowal if it is rejected because then it’s not according to the friend’s desire but according to my desire. 

If someone bestows something we do not desire, but we accept it does that make it that the person receiving is actually bestowing? Yes.

I have read we should taken on the desires of our friends, but what desires are acceptable? I help them realize their spiritual desire.

States is a more general term. I’m always in some state, but not on a spiritual degree.

Sure, I need to have fear to maintain a degree; and I need to have fear in advance, to ever reach a spiritual degree.

to further clarify and ask , in this morning’s lesson the question was asked about what the actions of bestowal and then the follow up was about rewarded the light that reforms through faith and then Rav answered him and at the end said until he is reformed and if he doesn’t he will be thrown back to previous states. Is this why when a person reaches Lishma, that he worries all the time that he is doing write that he could not be adhered to The Creator even for one moment ?
