Participantin the past 5 month I have been taking care of my parents outside of the country who are both sick. I was away from my own families and work. I tried so hard to practice bestowing towards my parents, I only found myself hurt mentally and physically. I know this is the time to pray for the light to lift me to another capacity level. my questions are: 1. how do I know the light is working on me? 2. will this practice of bestowing put me at a position of being taken advantage by others (even my own parents). I guess the 2nd question shows my “will to receive” nature but before I have the equivalence of form, how do I balance things? thank you very much!

ParticipantWhat do you tell your parents who are in their mid-80’s and going through some health issues, who have no religious background and knows very little about “God”, the meaning of their life at this stage? since in their eyes (and in most people’s eyes), what’s left are mostly sufferings and little hope?

Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #391135Helen
Participantmy current goal is very small: to be able to practice in a group of 10 by end of the year.
Helen
ParticipantWhat most inspired me in the course?
–the importance of the group of 10, where I can practice bestow safely
What have I learned about myself in the process?
–I have learned that I am still a toddler in learning Kabbalah. I have watched so many videos but If I were to tell my friend what I have learned, I can only say at most 10 sentences!
What do I wish for my fellow students in their spiritual development.
–I wish everybody including myself can continue this journey and becoming a Kabbalist one day
