“We are directed to Kabbalah from Above. (Quite often we are di-
rected elsewhere, toward other “spiritual techniques” which means that we must go through still other phases of development. It might take several more lifetimes before we arrive at Kabbalah). Finally, when we begin to study Kabbalah, our every desire begins
to grow within us. We become more egoistic, and therefore smarter.
Greater worldly desires are born, especially sexual ones.”This is so very true for my life experience. I spent 30 years in an other “spiritual technique” and it wasn’t until the pandemic when I was directed toward Kabbalah because I could not stay where I was. I still had spiritual yearning which was and still is my intention for learning. What surprises me the most is that “our every desire grows and we become more egoistic and smarter. Greater worldly desires are born, especially sexual ones.” I’m a little shocked at that.
July 17, 2024 at 3:20 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Prompt: What does transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to one grounded in altruism entail? #381627JuuleParticipantI’m with Heather. I don’t know what that particular transition entails and I’m here to learn but I will say that it may begin with the correct intention.

Is there a practical example of it that I can get?
Other than that, I loved the caterpillar video. I want to be an imaginal cell!
July 12, 2024 at 4:51 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #381177JuuleParticipantIt’s challenging for me to be asked to express what any of my expectations are. I have a long history of feeling certain expectations only to have them become opposite to what I believed would happen. I have learned that it is better for me to go with the flow and accept the outcome. However, since you asked, I will give it a shot.
My expectation for the Kabbalah in Action course is that it will unfold all the teachings in a precise way in order for me to learn. The expectation that I have for myself is that I will apply my attention to the teachings as given to best understand them and from there to process and internalize in order to come to know who I am and where I fit within and amongst all that is in creation.
July 1, 2024 at 2:28 pm EDT in reply to: What was my best experience from the previous course? What do I expect from this course? #378083JuuleParticipantI would say the best realization from the previous course is how much inner work I have yet to do. I have learned not to have expectations about anything but what will be will be.
JuuleParticipantWhat I learned about myself is that working to position my ego in the corrected way will take a great effort and it is challenging to understand if my efforts are getting anything done. However, what is inspiring is to know that there is a plan in place for all of us.
What I would say to my fellow students is to keep at it and not to give up.
