Can we meditate by using the book of Psalms?

A few months ago, one of my friends asked you a question…and you replied him and said, and I quote, “to be in kabbalistic thought” then, I asked you, What does it mean to be in Kabbalistic thought? You replied and said, to think about the friends.

When reading the Book of Psalms, should we focus our intention towards connecting with the friends?

          What does  kabbalah meditation mean?

Here’s an explanation of Kabbalistic meditation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8SsQJkZNhE

Generally, we want to always think of the connection with the friends. It’s easier to do with the writings of Rabash. It’s not so easy to tie Psalms to this, even though that is what Psalms is about.

How do I increase my propensity to pray when stressed out in the corporeal?  It seems I become critical of the ten and then it spills over into me actually criticizing the friends when stressed.  How do I teach myself to pray more?  Idk what it is but it seems deep down inside that I don’t think it will be productive to pray, does that make sense?  I mean I believe the sages but somehow the idea of prayer is not part of my deep nature and I have to remind myself to do it.

It’s not just you – the last thing one wants to do is turn to the Creator. For this, I have to cancel myself, which is against my ego. We have to practice this with the ten, the Light will work on us, and eventually we can turn to the Creator.

Stress is usually just an intensified concern for myself – more of the usual. If the spiritual goal will be higher, the stress will reside down below and I will live above it.

For there to be great fear, must there be also a great reward? And if one has fear for the creator, then is the reward not for the ego but for the sake of the creator?

      • #386158

Will the ego work all the time for a reward that is Above Reason? This is why this work is precisely Above Reason.

Why is it that the articles in the daily lessons seem to speak exactly to something occurring in my world that day?

      • #386111

Because you’re trying to be in the flow of thee lesson. Then it turns out to be exactly about the state one is in. The whole reality is for you.

Can you explain/expound on The idea that “the more righteous one is, the greater his evil inclination is? “

      • #385919

        Hi Brad,

It’s that what I need to correct and can, stands before me now. That’s what is in front of me, and not more. But when I draw the Reforming Light through the study, I correct this, and a new swath of desire is revealed to correct. Therefore, I’m now a bigger egoist, and so on.

What does Kabbalah says about fortune tellers? A person studying Kabbalah, should he believe in fortune telling or should he engage in such activity?
