In the 2/13 Monday afternoon lesson with the Rav, (around the 27 min. mark) when Rav was asked about his responses to a woman in the Kavkaz 1 Ten, Rav stated that he did not like her, she is mischievous, I relate to her badly, don’t like her specifically, that the women in the Ten need to pray for her correction, women need to defend her to the Rav so he will see she is a good Friend, Rav states he does not see she is a good Friend, they, the Ten, said she is a good Friend, Rav states he does not feel this. I do not understand the command for the Ten to pray for the correction of the Friend to have better connection with the Rav, as I thought, if I am having difficulty relating to another in the Ten or Group then it was the Creator giving me specifically something to work on and it was for me to ask the Creator for my correction? Any insight on this would be welcomed.

So the Zohar is meant as a guidebook for those below the spiritual barrier?

🙂 That’s a proper follow-up question. It is written for us. The fact that it’s not understandable is because we need to develop the Kelim (vessels) to feel, and then understand what we’re feeling. Afterward, we cross the Barrier. Then it really becomes a guidebook to the spiritual world.

If we see a flaw, we nevertheless need to ask; and asking for others is far more effective than asking for oneself, even if I am asking to be corrected.

Dear Zohar,
Assumpton: If we recognize , some of our egoistic inclinations, being horrified with it, having already established fine connections in our ten, raising MAN there, seeing no improvements in our state to come to faith above reason, then my best question would be like: do I make a move, double my intention, or stay put. (and sign in for the retreat later this year). Really i do not know now, but would like to know your opinion. Thanks in advance.

If I’ve done all that I could to connect, but I haven’t revealed the Upper World, I must conclude that there is more that needs to be done. It could be that all that is left is turning to the Creator – but there must be something. And, in fact, I should every moment think, “What else can I do to advance the friends to connection,” no matter what state I’m in.

I noticed a difference in the language of The Zohar book (annotations to the Ashlag commentary, 2007] and the translation of the study materials attached to the daily lesson.
Can you explain why the differences? It seems the study materials are a bit less cryptic.- February 4, 2023 at 9:56 pm EST #311712Gianni – KabU InstructorModerator
You’d have to provide an example of the difference.

Hello, dear friends!
I am trying to do a test…. If I subscribe to this forum will it notify me of all posts or just replies to my post here? Can someone please help me with this? Please reply to me if you know the answer (or want to help with the test) and also if someone can start a new post, that would be great. I am curious what notifications come though.
Many thanks!

In [170] of the study materials it says this as the explanation
Explanation: Prior to the end of correction, while Malchut is called “tree of knowledge of good and evil, her entire correction is done through the MAN by which the righteous raise Malchut to Bina. Through this ascent, Malchut becomes as holy as Bina for the time being. These MAN are a prayer in whisper, since Malchut, speech, cannot be in a state of speaking only goodness without any evil, except when the voice in the speech is from Bina, which is a unification of voice and speech, a coupling of ZON in Gadlut, since ZA receives the voice of Ima and gives in the speech of the Malchut. At that time, the speech is all good without any bad at all, and she receives the Mochin of holiness.Indeed, without this mitigation from the voice of Bina, the voice of Malchut, the first nine, there is a grip for the shells in Malchut and she cannot receive from the holiness. Hence, the ascent of MAN is considered that the righteous raise in prayer, which are in whisper of the lips, speech without a voice, as it is written, “Only her lips move but her voice is not heard.” This is because then there is no grip to the MAN that they raise and they can raise the Malchut to Bina, too, so she receives the voice from Bina. At that time she becomes a holy structure and receives Mochin in a coupling of voice and speech, and the sanctity of her speech stays over the heads of the righteous who corrected them.
But under [170] in the print version, there are 5 paragraphs that contain this material, just written a little differently.
I don’t think it’s a difference in meaning, only the form of the language. It’s actually beneficial to have the two versions to compare.

Hi Ester,
If I translate from Hebrew, actually there are a few ways I can do it. Going from 5 paragraphs to 2 is not possible, but sometimes I can go from 7 words to 4, for example. If it’s a translation by our friends, I trust it. If you want exactness, learn Hebrew. Otherwise, there are more words or less words because to convey meaning in one language vs. the other more or less words may be necessary.

Is there something I can do to help this environment grow or anything else? I feel useless just watching and enjoying content you have created, I want to create something also!

That’s part of the plan, Sauli. Learn and enjoy, and in the Young Group you’ll start soon there will be endless opportunities to bestow. And you’re already helping the environment more than you know.

Dear KabU,
Re Mike Kellogg. Jan 5, 2023 – Become Partners with the Creator
At the beginning of this class, in the opening readings, Beth and Tiffany read from various sources, one such said “and the new word of wisdom rises and sits on the head of the righteous one who lives forever . . .”
My question comes from a place of intrigue, is this wisdom which rises and ‘sits on the head’ as referred to the same as that which is frequently depicted in iconography and art as the Halo at the head of an illumined individual; in our lexicon ‘Keter’. the crown of crowns?
Last question, I love the initial readings, I can’t actually follow them intellectually {I not too familiar with many of the terms and meanings or can’t recall the meanings quick enough before it moves on} and therefore l just follow the words more as one would listen to music. These opening excerpts do not need comprehension just recognition. I am moved somehow I ‘get it’. is this the right way to go about it, I mean let it flow in?
Thank you, Lyndon S

Best is to dispense with all these depictions. Like Rav said, try to feel, without too much imagination. It’s better not even to think of Keter as “crown”. It’s better I don’t know the Hebrew. The internal definition has as little to do with the image we have as do the ones and zeros that create the image of a crown on a computer screen. We just search for these concepts to the extent we can feel them in our connection, and to the extent that we can’t feel them we search for the Light to work and bring us to connection, in which we will certainly feel them, as they are all nothing but forms of our connection in the ten.
