JuuleParticipantI truly cannot say what to expect. Â My desire is to learn.
JuuleParticipantHello. My preferred name is Juule.  I was born in the midst of the Rocky Mountains of USA where I have lived my life so far.  I was raised in the Catholic religion and never really took to it even though I was compelled to do so while living with my parents.  When I became autonomous after moving out, I looked to an alternative spiritual tradition to sustain me which I learned and practiced for over 30 years.  After all the time I lived and learned about things I know never to have any expectations about anything.  What Kabbalah can deliver for me will be what it is.

JuuleParticipantTo make my correction of my desire from receiving for myself to receiving for bestowal.

JuuleParticipantTo see all that is in existence from the spiritual to the corporeal, the ultimate big picture that is all good.

JuuleParticipantI’m very confused about something and am hoping to gain clarity around it.  If I am not wrong about hearing the instruction for us to maintain faith above reason why then in the week 3 lesson reading from the Shamati it says this:
“This is considered that the judgment is just, that only in this manner can we come to the ultimate goal, to understand within reason, with complete and absolute understanding of which there is no higher, that only by way of faith and bestowal can we achieve the purpose.”
It says this again in the first part of the reading. This seems like a contradiction to me. Please help me to understand. Thank you.
May 13, 2024 at 3:38 pm EDT in reply to: Preparation Question: The importance of clearly defining the goal in the study of Kabbalah is the beginning of the path. Once the goal is defined, you will continue to refine it to keep yourself perfectly aimed at the target. How would you currently define the goal for which you are studying? #372324
JuuleParticipantI would like to know who I am and from there find out why am I here?  The Kabbalahists say they can help me with discovering the answers. And so I study.
